Critique Structures

It’s easy enough to identify imagery you like or dislike – the challenging part is explaining why you feel that way.

The Critique Structures course teaches students how to examine and analyze artwork more effectively. During the course, we teach you to question how well a piece accomplishes its intended purpose based on design, value, complexity, and aesthetics, helping you make an informed opinion. Through examining the design content of other graphic artists across many genres, you’ll gain a better understanding of how to apply the principles of aesthetics to your work.
