Sound for Film

When you deal in visuals, it’s easy to forget just how important sound is to a film… but this is film school, so we’re not going to let you forget it. In this course, you’ll use field recorders and mixers in various locations in order to gain expertise in the craft of sound for video and film productions. You’ll also examine the fundamentals of sound, microphones, location and soundstage recording, sound equipment and operation, and various recording techniques.
