History of Visual Communications

In this course, you’ll trace the origins of graphic design and art from its beginnings on cave walls, to today’s mass media, as you learn how the intersection of art and human-computer interactivity has triggered new forms of artistic, entertainment, and educational content. During this course, you’ll follow the evolution of various converging disciplines, increasing your understanding of how art affects society and vice-versa.
